Wednesday

This is a painting I am going to do again.  I love the reference photo and after painting it once, I know what I've done wrong and know what to do differently next time.  I'm really kind of excited to be doing it again.  Look for a real masterpiece next time!

I've certainly never thought of this before.

The roof line makes it look like a false-front store instead of a vaulted-ceiling church. Is that what you are going to change. Looks like a mission church in southern AZ.

It's on the Papago reservation near Tucson. Used to visit there with friends. The little villiage is called Sil Nayka. About 5 families lived there. No roads to speak of, no electricity, and they hauled water from a neighboring village called Queens Well. Horse and wagon.

Have you tried looking at your painting in a mirror?
