I have a feeling we are going to really miss our old neighbor, Kevin. He usually seemed to have several other guys living there, but they were quiet, didn't block the street, and weren't trashy.
The new neighbors have moved in, and maybe we're jumping to conclusions, but they used our driveway to pull in and back this small trailer up to their back door. Nothing wrong with that, but they ran over a bush, and the decorative rocks and bricks bordering the retaining wall. Barrie had to put them back.

Barriefound out Kasey's dad was picking her up from daycare in his work truck with no carseat, and having her wait by the side of the highway in the truck by herself while he's flagging. (oh ya he DOES have a job) so she called her attourney, who called family services, they told her to call the sherrif's dept, and the sherrif's dept. told her to call her attourney. What's wrong with this picture?
And she is going through the same thing trying to collect child support.

I love your pictures. They are such a birdseye snapshot of our town.
It sounds like the law is to lazy to do their job.
But if Barrie does one little thing wrong, they will be Johnny On The Spot to haul heer away.
She needs to keep pushing this unbtil something is done. Or at least give her story to the newspaper office. Thgen watch the law wet themselves and make all kinds of excuses.
I can't stand deadbeat dads or crooked and/or lazy cops
no doubt DADD... I lost the good job I had after getting arrested in the office because I "failed to appear" in court after a mix-up in court dates over a $60 traffic ticket...not to mention my truck was totalled. It's also hard to get a new job with an "arrest record" and everyone does background checks these days...Meanwhile the deadbeat is over $5000 behind on child support and taking Kasey on vacations to prove what a great dad he is...

Sorry to hear that, and I'll bet that when the weasel found out about it he just smiled knowing that in the end it hurt Kasey also.
And the problem is, without the child support, you can't get a attorney to get that expunged from your record.
I'll bet that little weasel has messed with and missed court dates and nothing is being done to him.
I got arrested (by crooked cops)and charged with a felony, but it cost the City some BIG BUCKS in the end, and my record is clean.
weasel...i like that! yes at that time i had to go to three court dates trying to get him to pay me the settlement money. he missed two court dates, was finally arrested and got away with it because there was no date on the third summons. the first summons the cops never even served him. he hid from them and got away with that also.
