I'm surprised every year to see a few poppies blooming along the fence of the back yard.  I transplanted some there years ago, and they are not taken care of, but still manage to live.  Tough flowers!

There is a large patch of these down by the front gate.  They aren't blooming yet, but are covered with buds.

Barrie mowed the lawn yesterday, and it looks beautiful. 

Someone is trying to repair the fence that fell down behind the old B&B building.  But the level of the "lake" is rising.  I've never seen this area empty before, so it will be interesting to see just how big the lake gets.
